All of your donations to date ($240) have been transmitted to Ben. Thanks to everyone who gave their hard-earned money to support him.
In yet another act of compassion, Ben has asked that any future donations be given to Jayeon Simon, the victim of the pit-bull attack.
To honor Ben’s request we will end this campaign today. We have made a donation Jayeon and wish him a speedy recovery.

My name is Benjamin Srigley. Peter and I have exchanged messages via Facebook, and I believe this to be a legitimate collection.
I am truly touched and very grateful for all the public support that I have received. Thank you!
I have just started another Pledgie campaign to benefit the real victim, Jayeon Simon, and ask for your help in raising money for his medical expenses: http://pledgie.com/campaigns/20201
If you can only afford to make one donation, I would prefer that you give the money to Jayeon.
Thank you again for all your kind support.
1969iggy – My name is Peter and I am running this. I promise that all of the donations made to him will be donated to him. (Less the pledgie.com fee of 3%)
I can verify that I have been in contact with Mr. Srigley and that he has asked to stay out of the media until his court proceedings are complete. He has been provided a link to this Pledgie page.

Can you post something on here so we know this is legit? Contact info for the person/organization running this? I’m all for helping this guy, but want to know that i’m actually helping this guy…
Thank you for your donation and your comment Leo.
We set this up because we feel the same way you do and we know there are other good people out there that feel this way too.
www.SAFELY.me #gunsafetyamendment “…the right of the people SAFELY to keep and bear arms….”
I support, more or less, the correctly-interpreted, in-effect Constitution including its Bill of Rights, the Rule of Law, most other laws, Common Law correctly understood, International Law, treaty law and honor, human rights, civil rights, equal rights, the basic legal equality of all human beings of every description, the rights of suspects and defendants, public safety, gun control, peace and nonviolence when at all possible, Aboriginal/Tribal Rights, harmony and solidarity, true journalism, diplomacy, give-and-take, fighting climate change and corporate “rights,” paying taxes, progressive politics, decent American jobs, Subsistence, personal and social ethics, accessible government, the Commons, harm reduction, and materially helping the needy.
I also support heroism and helping heroes who, in their heroism, run afoul of the law in what amount to relatively minor ways, i.e., saving a life and acting jointly with a police officer in doing the right thing, vs. having neglected to register a couple guns and ammo.
I’m not familiar with this organization, and my participation on this page does not necessarily represent an endorsement of any other positions it may hold. But thank you for establishing this fund for the direct, personal assistance/reward for Mr. Srigley.
