I love RVM. When I started out with Rails, I struggled with the install process and decided that all of my apps would use the same Ruby and Rails versions. That did not last and alas, there was this crazy bleeep looking website https://rvm.beginrescueend.com/.

P.S. As mentioned in HN comment I plan to stick to RVM, but I do believe that open-source clones and forks are good for everyone in the long run – as long as respect is due of course. Many of us remember where we came from though; few people can build universal value from nothing – remember that. ;)

@leereilly Actually I intend on funneling it all back into development efforts on my Open Source projects to be honest :) I will skim some off to help with some bills first but majority goes straight back to OS.
