Life without RVM would be a little less awesome.
Sorry for small donation, but in f**ng Russia we don’t have much money :-(
RVM is awesome, thank you!
Keep up the good work man, it’s an invaluable instrument.
RVM has helped me out greatly! Thank you for your time and effort!
Many thanks Wayne! RVM has been a huge help for me as I learn to program get to know the Ruby/Rails ecosystem.

Good work, RVM is part of my daily work.
I really appreciate the work you’ve done in building and releasing RVM. I could not imagine working without it.
RVM has been of genuine, tangible benefit to me daily for the past twelve months.
Thank you, Wayne, for the time and attention you’ve evidently poured into RVM.

Thanks for the great work!
Hey Wayne, keep up the good fight.
You – and RVM – rock!
RVM has changed Ruby (for the better). Thank you very much.
Thank you everyone!!!
@leereilly Actually I intend on funneling it all back into development efforts on my Open Source projects to be honest :) I will skim some off to help with some bills first but majority goes straight back to OS. I also like donating to other OS projects and man does this help with doing that ;) Sorry to disappoint you about the sports car idea though, perhaps I’ll buy a matchbox?
Thanks, Wayne! I hope you’re going to treat yourself to a sports car with all this $…
Thank you for RVM!
RVM is awesome :-)
Thanks for making development easier. RVM is part of my standard image.
Thanks for RVM, Wayne! I use it every day and it’s made my Ruby life way easier.
Even though I fail at life as a documentation helper, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate and admire your attitude, work ethic, and dedication to community. Thanks for being one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure to talk with.
Without RVM … I don’t even want to think about it ;)
Wayne, thank you so much for all your hard work on RVM!
I’m really sorry to see how the HN cr*p got to you. Keep in mind all the incredibly positive feedback RVM has gotten since you released it, and keep in mind that thousands of rubyist are very, very grateful for it.
Please continue the awesome work, I can’t imagine my dev or production setups without RVM!
Thank you :)
I love RVM so much!
<3 U and RVM Wayne!!! Please keep up the great work! :) Thanks for all the great docs and hanging out in #rvm!
Don’t you dare stopping your awesome work on RVM, Wayne. Who else will accept my interpreter patches? :p
I install RVM and i’m have “Thank you for using RVM! I sinc……”
I make a test “rvm | head -1”, i recived “rvm: command no found”
I’m in the same directory all time
Thank you, Wayne!
RVM is a very good thing, and super super useful. Thanks for all your hard work. I do hope it continues.
Happy to donate today. Felt like Wayne needed some encouragement :)
Thanks for your work on RVM Wayne! Much appreciated for me and every Rubyist that have used it; happier and more productive programmers. A symbolic amount; I usually don’t pledge open-source by principle (open initiatives mixed with money is IMO a bad mix), but to ensure that you put some value to these words at least. :)
P.S. As mentioned in HN comment I plan to stick to RVM, but I do believe that open-source clones and forks are good for everyone in the long run – as long as respect is due of course. Many of us remember where we came from though; few people can build universal value from nothing – remember that. ;)
When you love something, you support it. Thanks for bringing RVM into my life!
Thank you oh so very much for RVM — it makes my life simpler, and hopefully this pledge will simplify your life.
I remember the nightmare that was setting up my rails environment before I stumbled onto RVM. Thanks, Wayne.

Thanks for all your hard work on RVM! It has truly simplified Ruby development and I couldn’t live without it.
If it wasn’t for RVM. I’d be making RPMs for every single god bleeep Ruby and managing all that horrible mess myself.
Thanks for taking away some of my burden.
Thanks for making my learning experience with Ruby and Rails that much easier Wayne. Keep up the great work.
keep up the good work
Thanks for all that you have done for the ruby community. You are awesome. Cheers.
I love RVM. When I started out with Rails, I struggled with the install process and decided that all of my apps would use the same Ruby and Rails versions. That did not last and alas, there was this crazy bleeep looking website https://rvm.beginrescueend.com/.
Thank you for RVM. Made my life (and many many others) much easier!
RVM is invaluable to us. Thanks for your efforts, Wayne.
Thanks for your contributions to the ruby community Wayne, i am very grateful for RVM. I hope you continue with the good work. I like the idea of having another ruby versioning tool besides RVM and i would appreciate if RVM AND rbenv would continue to be improved and supported side by side.
Thank you for all your hard work with RVM, Wayne, you’re awesome!
RVM has saved the Ruby world so much time, and saved so many headaches, you should get a Nobel prize or something. Or at least a ton of donations. thanks!
Thanks Wayne. You’ve saved my bacon more times than I can count. Please keep up the great work.

<3 <3 <3
I can’t live without RVM! Great work!
While rbenv may end up being a cleaner re-implementation, you recognized the problem in the first place and built quite an elegant solution. Thanks for your contributions to the ruby community, we are grateful.
Great work, RVM has simplified my ruby development and testing environment, finally no hacks! Keep up the good work.
I’m new to ruby and just wanted to get ruby 1.9 and rails set up. After hours of messing with ruby installs and ruby gems versions and not getting anywhere, I came across rvm. A few minutes later – all set up and good to go.
Thank you so much for your help today! :) I donated and so well worth it.
RVM is fantastic!
Wayne, I’m new to Ruby and have really enjoyed the ease of RVM. Keep up the great work and you should try a recurring pledge. I’d happily sign up for that!
Cheers – Steve
