EVE Service Corp (EVSCO) Server

Eve Service Corp (EVSCO) is in need of a new server, a server that is upgradeable – and a server we can actually touch if something goes wrong.

Currently we are renting the server, and we cannot upgrade it to the demands that we have.
All of which is starting to show its signs, with slow query execution and alot of I/O wait (Cause the discs cant keep up).

Currently we are looking at raising 4000$ – to help pay for the new server.
The server hardware we are looking at getting is
Dual Quad Xeon 5520s, +16GB Memory, SSDs and large Storage Drives.

The reasoning behind such a massive beast of a server, is that – currently EVSCO gets above 200k page hits pr. day (And its growing). And all of them require alot of queries being run to display the information. Ontop of that we get non-counted hits from the various APIs that we run for websites around EVE.

Getting the massive beast of a server will help us being able to develop more, better and faster services for people in EVE-Online.
