<title>Help me pay for dental work</title>
    <link>http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/886</link>
<description>My mom only grew 23 permanent teeth. Most of the missing permanent teeth were in the back, but the two front bottom baby teeth were never replaced. As a result, the teeth wore down and when she was 14, her dad got her a bridge. To this day(she's 53), she still has two baby teeth in her mouth.

This caused a lot of problems for her. Because of the lack of teeth and because of a severe overbite, she developed gum disease and has lost many of her teeth.

Unfortunately for her, both my sister and I were born with the same dental problems(almost-- my sister and mom grew 23 permanent teeth and I grew 22).

When my sister was 11, my family qualified for medicaid and my sister got braces. Her teeth(which were even worse than mine) were fixed with braces by the time I was 14.

I had been told that I could get dental implants for the two front bottom teeth, but that medicaid would not cover them, so I held off.

Eventually I turned 18, and still had not had my teeth fixed. But now I had no way to pay for what I needed to get done. I need braces, a bridge for my front bottom teeth, and one dental implant in the back of my mouth.

Now I'm 25, and my front bottom teeth are almost worn down completely. I need some way to pay for about $6100 worth of orthodontic work(in addition to some dental work I will need in about three years after the dental work is done).

I am grateful for any help you can provide.

Thanks very much.</description>
