Need a Home

My family is currently renting a really tiny house. We are so grateful to have a roof over our heads and the ability to pay the rent and have food on our table.

The three of us, my husband, myself and my four year old daughter, really need to find a bigger place. A lot of our belongings is being stored in an outdoor storage because we just don't have room in this house. This house used to be a servants quarter, so I am sure you can imagine how tiny it is. We really wish we could find a bigger place to rent in this small town, but due to the nature of rural towns, it is incredibly hard to find a home to rent in the area that is close to my husbands work and that is affordable to us. We've been looking for years now.. we just don't have the money or ability to buy our own home. We don't have enough money to correct our credit so that we could buy a home. We're at the point where the clutter and lack of space and the inability to have our personal belongings with us, has become quite difficult. The furnace is ancient and is costing us so much in electric bill that we had to disable it. We use oil heaters in the cold winter months and we had to purchase two window air conditioner units to cool our home in the hot summer months. We cannot leave the oil heaters on in the winter when we go out in fear that the house may catch on fire, so when we return from our outings it takes a very long time for the house to warm up. And during the winter months we have to warm up the house enough so that the pipes don't freeze and we can throw a load of laundry in the wash. It has become tedious and frustrating, but we do all that we can to make it liveable for us and we are grateful that we have the ability to have a washer in our home and not have to go to a laundromat. ..we really could use any donation at all to assist us towards the eventuality of purchasing a home.

I so desperately want to give my little girl a home to call her own, a bedroom in which she could keep her belongings/toys in, a place she can dream in and imagine in. My husband and I are working hard to reach this goal, but it some times feels like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. We will continue to put forth every effort we can to make our dream of having a home become a reality for us. We realize we are truly blessed and have much to be grateful for. I feel that there are so many others that really require assistance and donations more than us.. I humbly ask if you have anything to spare AFTER you've helped those who need your help more than us, that it'd be most appreciated.

I thank you for your time in reading this. May all your dreams and wishes come true, too.
