At the beginning, .node (http://dotnode.com) was created to provide a true alternative to orkut (who is only for english speaker, closed source, on Microsoft technologies).
It was the first multilingual social network site (June 2004).
The first to publish his code under an OpenSource License (GPL).

Today, my time and my money to support .node is limited and I must take a serious decision : Keep .node alive or killing it :(
