I’m planning a mission trip to Uganda this summer where I will work with those who have been plauged by a war that has waged for more than 20 years. Over the course of that time, thousands of children have been kidnapped by the Lord’s Resistance Army and forced to become child soldiers. To make matters worse, more than a million people have been displaced from their homes, forced to live in camps where unhealthy conditions are causing them to die by the thousands.

My trip will last two weeks. While there, I will see with my own eyes what has taken place in Uganda and help out however I can. Upon returning, I hope to share the stories of those I meet with everyone around me.
