This campaign is about doing something extra special for the hardworking volunteers of Global Hand. A good quality espresso, cappuccino or latte is all they need to keep on saving the world, but it’s not something they can regularly afford to purchase. If you’d be willing to shout the team a few rounds at the cafe then please pledge it towards an office coffee machine!
Thanks for helping us do something special!
We now have the machine. It is working brilliantly and the team is loving it.
The machine’s name is
Leroy B. Brave
We are saving time.
This translates into more code for our humanitarian projects (less time making coffees and cleaning up after them)
We are saving money.
As fulltime volunteers we can’t afford to buy a quality cup very often. When we can afford it, we have to choose between having no money or having no coffee. We no longer need to make that choice!
We are more productive.
A quality cup of coffee translates into quality code.
This whole caper is a raging success. Thanks for being a part of it!
Just a quick update to say the coffee machine continues to fuel good things for a hurting world. It’s really, really working out wonderfully and everyone is so grateful.

Ok, that was wild! We hit the goal in 9 hours and 15 minutes. That’s because (a) we have the best, most generous friends in the whole world (b) we’re doing something people believe in and © Pledgie is pretty darn cool. WOW!
Thanks everyone who pledged.
To those who blinked and missed out, feel free to pledge a little towards coffee beans if you like :)

And I thought that anyone deserves a nice espresso while they are saving the world. It is a must!

Thanks a bunch everyone. The machine is installed in the office and it’s having a significant positive impact on morale, productivity and “fun”!
Contributors should please feel free to come on by the office and avail themselves of their free coffee rights :)
