<p>Donate to this to help offset the costs of the volunteer effort to improve the documentation for the Ruby Reports project, which includes ruport, ruport-util, and acts_as_reportable.</p>
<p>The ultimate goal of this project is to release a book on Ruport, self published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. This book will be sold at a very low cost if possible, with proceeds allowing us to continue the ongoing documentation effort.</p>
<p>The full manuscript will be available as it is developed at ruportbook.com, and will continue to be available free of charge after publishing.</p>
<p>The documentation effort is lead by the head developers for the project: Gregory Brown and Michael Milner</p>

We’ve now reached the point where we’ve got our hosting bills covered for one year, which is much more than what I could have hoped for!</p>
<p>Any remaining proceeds will help offset the cost of establishing a company for us to distribute the typeset PDF and printed copies of the book.</p>
<p>We’d like to keep the price point as low as possible, and also donate a decent amount of any proceeds we get from book sales to charity.</p>
<p>Any continued donations will help us keep prices low and cover some of the fixed costs we’re facing.</p>
