URGENT flights to go to the Brazilian Consulate in Munich

By liliannicoletti ( 389 Award_star_bronze_2 )

Dear friends, I come with great urgency to communicate, as some
have know, I am the wife of Daniel Nicoletti, Linux developer and
teacher in 4Linux, developer who spends most of his time trying make
life easier for Linux users and improving codes and more codes for days,
nights and early mornings, a passion for making and Always put your
best into it. Was going on Wednesday 07 the November hackfest cm, when
this morning November 8 me league desperate and in tears saying he was
going to prison in Munich – Germany, and the worst that was being sought
by police international, to send the Argentine authorities for murder
of our Geovanna daughter, who tragically passed away in April 2011 at a
terrible car crash in Argentine roads, for imprudence of a proven driver
of 86 years who stopped in middle of the freeway for no reason, this
driver causing many other accidents in the area, to divert my husband,
honking and flag faces the same again putting your car in motion and try
to divert not to cause a major accident made a maneuver which by
instability of our car ‘prism’ collided with a truck and overturned,
after the fact Daniel and I took desperate forces where and we had each
of us was one of our rescue two children Twins 1 year and 4 months at
the time, desatamos of seat belts their seats and he came out with
Christopher’s car and I with Geovanna she already unconscious, without
pupillary reflexes, with only a very weak irregular breathing, can never
be aroused, I took her to the nearest hospital that gave us a few
minutes after the terrible news that our beloved daughter had died, with
all the injuries and fractures, we trying to be as firm as possible we
left our other baby, but in our heart beat in the chest pace of great
sorrow, the time step I spent the whole day after that, did not get up even for a
second in front of this computer, I have spoken to all the people I know
who do not know, I talked to a German lawyer who is representing me and
she explained that Argentina asks his extradition, but Germany did not
totally agree with his guilt and his punishment questions, informed me
that if nothing is done it will remain stuck in Munich for at least
another 6 months, but if I can go there to intercede for him before the
German justice taking documents which have already all in my power, he
may have his situation quite relieved. And this can be undone
misunderstanding, this injustice.

I know you know him, or me, I urge help, whatever it is, because everything would be welcome, because our families can not need the money, we have the greatest urge to buy these tickets, and with God’s grace hopefully be embarking to Munich this Monday at most and that everything can be solved in the best way possible here thanks a mother of two babies, only one of whom I have beside me and wife of a wonderful person and esforçadíssima which I love very much and will do anything to help bring it back home … thank you in advance!

Urgent fund-raiser for Daniel Nicoletti.

Many of you will know Daniel Nicoletti, aka dantti, a KDE contributor to many projects such as the Print Manager, colord, Apper, PackageKit, etc. You may also remember a couple of years ago that we dedicated a KDE release to the memory of Daniel’s daughter who was killed in a tragic car accident in Argentina.

Daniel was flying yesterday from Brazil to the Czech Republic to attend the Linux Color Management Hackfest on behalf of KDE when he was detained at German immigration on an International Arrest Warrant related to the car accident. He is now awaiting the German courts to decide whether to extradite him or release him, a process that could happen immediately or take up to 6 months to decide.

Obviously this is a very distressing time for Daniel and his family, and distressing for those of us involved in bringing him to Europe. Daniels wife desperately needs to go to Munich to help coordinate his defence, and deliver to his lawyer and the German courts all the documentation they have on the accident to allow the court to rule with full knowledge of what happened, but she cannot afford to do so. This Pledgie has been set up so you can donate towards her flight. Thank you.

Kevin Kofler asked me if I could do a donation on his behalf because he doesn’t have a PayPal or Pledgie account. I agreed and then added some money on top, but first and foremost I’d like to thank Kevin because it was his idea to donate and nearly 2/3 or our donation came from him.
