LATEST UPDATE (13/11/2012): Sean is now back in the UK with his family getting round the clock care from the doctors. He has since had his tracheostomy removed and is breathing and managing his own airways on his own. He is in a semi-conscious state whereby he is able to look at people when they speak to him and in some cases respond slightly with movement, however still unable to talk.
The doctors have told us to expect a very long rehabilitation process given that the progress he is making is extremely slow, but the important thing is he is still making progress however slow it may be. Given he was initially totally unresponsive and wasnt given much chance when he was found, this is really positive news.
This campaign was essentially set up to raise funds to cover Seans treatment and to get him home safely and that is what we have achieved so we must give our thanks to everyone who has contributed in any way towards this. Any excess funds will be going towards his rehabilitation and any further costs associated with treatment. Thank you all x
Hello all,
As you may well know by now Sean Connolly is currently in a critical condition in hospital in Mumbai. Having set off for a 2 week holiday on Friday 12th October he was admitted to hospital on the evening of Saturday 13th October and is currently on life support and fighting for survival.
As yet the cause is unclear but quite frankly all that matters is that Sean gets through this so he can come home! Those of us who know Sean will agree that he is a strong soul and he isn’t going to give up without a fight but in true Sean fashion he was travelling without any insurance and we need to give him and his family all the support we can.
The medical bill for the last few days is already well in to the thousands and in order to give him the best chance possible he needs to move in to a private hospital and receive the best treatment costing in excess of £1000 a day. We need to all come together and raise enough money to get him there!.
Times are tough for all of us but anything that can be given may well help save our friends life.
All the love and positive vibes in the world coming your way Sean. We know you can do it. x
This campaign has ended, no more pledges can be accepted.

Hey Dean. Did you organise the page? Sean worked for me in Ibiza at Carl Cox. Trying to get Carl to post the donation page on his fb page. His people may need your details just to confirm everything. Could you send me them? You can find me on fb in Sean’s friends. Cheers! James

Hi Dean & all concerned.
My brother just told me of this case. I’ve just gone through pretty much exactly the same thing. 6 months ago my friend Adam was attacked in Thailand, hospital was costing £2000/day for 6 weeks, we flew him home for £68,000, he’s still in a coma.
We set-up https://www.facebook.com/groups/adampickles/
and www.donatetoadam.org to raise funds & awareness – all the details are on there.
Anyway,I’ve learnt LOTS from the whole ordeal, if you want any advice then don’t hesitate to ask.
Email me on donatetoadam@hotmail.com
Good luck & I hope Sean pulls through,
Neil
