This is a great project, and absolutely the easiest way to integrate Sphinx into a Rails project. In fact, Pledgie is going to use ThinkingSphinx for our own site very soon.
I can’t end this comment without mentioning that Pat has done an awesome job documenting the ins and outs of using this plugin, which really is really fantastic for those just learning ThinkingSphinx not to mention Sphinx too.
