Ohai! Hey guys. Just announcing the Q2 campaign for the AG server costs. You guys have been absolutely awesome and incredibly kind as we’ve received an additional $174 over the $250 we faced in costs over Q1. I took this into account and thus we’re only aiming for just $76 to help cover our costs this quarter. We might look into considering some additional donations that go over our hard costs per quarter as for reinvestment back into the community — ideas that have sparked up include prizes for people who make awesome stuff (e.g. replay videos, art?). What is AG? AG is an alternative-friendly online community. Whether you’re gay, bi, trans, straight, a fur — or whatever other yummy flavour — we all have one thing in common: we love TF2 and gaming.

On a more serious note we’re a friendly, close-knit community and support one another. Many of us have found the servers and the people on it a place of refuge when bleeep hits the fan (I know I have).

As for why Pledgie? Our server uptime costs electricity, hardware and thus rental, and subsequently money along with web hosting and domain name renewals. If you’re well endowed… we’d love donations to help keep our costs down as otherwise everything comes out of our personal pockets.

Benefits? Donating AUD $12 or more gives you three months donatorship status on the game servers (e.g. reserved slot access, end of round immunity, …). Donating AUD $48 or more gives you a year and a quarter as a bonus of donatorship benefits.
