July 7 DevOps meeting: Deployment automation with Glu
I bring my recording gear, setup, record the talks, pack up, take everything back, encode, post, tweet and notify the event organiser so they can add the video to the group’s website.
If you are not familiar with my work, it is high quality. I use quality mics so that the presenter’s voice is clear. I mic the room to capture most comments and questions from the audience. I mix the presenters slides. Typical turnaround is 24 hours. I have hundreds of hours of experience and hundreds of hours of solid video footage. I take pride in good audio and a good mix of the presenter, their presentation and sometimes the audience. For examples and more details of the process: see http://www.nextdayvideo.com
No donation too small, and even token amounts helps me track what people are really interested in.
$75 pledge gets your logo on the opening title, limit 3. Most of my videos get 300 hits, some 1000. “Mindblowing Python GIL” got over 22,000 hits. 300 is not huge, but you are helping the people you want to reach and they will appreciate it.
