Helping to Care for Janice

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for your interest in supporting Janice! This campaign has put been together by Janice's college roommates and we appreciate your concern.

As many of you know, Janice was diagnosed in January with a brain tumor - Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma. At the time of her diagnosis, she was 29 weeks pregnant.

Janice delivered via c-section at her 32nd week of pregnancy, and a beautiful and healthy Haylee Corinne was born!!

A week later, Janice had brain surgery to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor was inoperable.

After being in the hospital for over 50 days, Janice finally went home in March - along with her beautiful baby girl:)

Janice is currently on aggressive chemo and radiation to try to reduce the size of her tumor. An MRI will be done in June to determine how successful the treatment was.

Jason, Janice's husband, has been unbelievable through all of this - taking care of both Janice and their newborn. Although Janice's spirits remain high, the chemo, radiation, and multiple medications she is taking leave her very tired and needing a lot of assistance. In addition, she has experienced seizures, which has caused partial paralysis in the right side of her body.

Jason has hired Rose, a Home Health Care Worker, to help with the 24 hour care of Janice. Family and friends have all shown their support in helping out with Haylee.

There are so many people who have express their desire to help. Therefore, this website was created for a donation contribution to the care needed for Janice during this difficult time. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for the prayers, cards, and calls. Janice and Jason are both overwhelmed by your support and want you all to know how much this means to them.

Thank You!
