The Libre Graphics Meeting (LGM) is an annual working conference for free software graphics application users and developers. The sixth edition takes place 10-13 May 2011 in Montreal, Canada. Teams from GIMP, Inkscape, Blender, Krita, Scribus, Hugin, Open Font Library and many other graphics projects gather to improve their software and discuss new ideas for interoperability and shared standards.
We aim to raise 12.000$ to help cover travel costs for volunteer developers and presenters that would otherwise be unable to journey to Montreal. Support the development of a Free, Libre and Open Source application-ecosystem and make a donation!
Larger donations from corporations and individuals can be done through this website or contact us directly at libregraphicsmeeting@gmail.com

I could not do without Inkscape, GIMP and Scribus. Supporting the Libre Graphics Meeting makes it easier for the people who need to get together to work on this software to do so.

I give with great pride for the first time. Inkscape and Gimp are such wonderful tools to use. The time is at last right for me to contribute. Though my donation be modest, together we are powerful, and I will wear my contribution with great pride in my heart, as a badge of honor.

Supporting this because we need to have alternatives in a free world. Motivating good developers to continue work on these great packages is important. Nothing comes completely for free ;-)
Btw, supporting this now, because this is a yearly event, right?
