http://pledgie.com/campaigns/1417 We have a one year old Jack Russell Terrier. Shadow ran out the door, by accident and ran off on Tuesday July 31st. A day after her first birthday. We looked all over and posted signs in our neighborhood, which kept getting pulled down. Finally we got a phone call on Wednsday August 6th from a wonderful woman. Her and her husband had found Shadow right outside of their gate with both of her front legs broken. The took her to a vet in Flooresville and got her casts put on and splints. I took her in today to our vet and got her looked at. She broke both of her front legs in half. We are not sure, but are suspecting that she jumped out of a tree. I had already saved her twice from a tree, and I can only assume that she got up one and mommy didn't come. They have suggested bone surgery. If we do not do the surgery there is a possiblity that Shadow will not be able to walk again. The surgery is estimated at approxmatly $ 1600.00. Due to the timing of the year and trying to get my kiddos all ready for school starting in two weeks, we are unable to afford the surgery. Any little bit can help, and we would appreciate it so much!
