)On Friday we announced that after six and a half years Metblogs would be shutting down. We immediately heard from a huge number of people that they didn’t want this to happen and wanted to help prevent it. Many offered cash, and we started working on a plan to save the network. We’ve set up this pledgie so people who want to contribute something to helping save the sites can do it easily. While we’re exploring all options to keep the network alive and we have people we’re talkign to who are willing to help we still need help to cover all the costs so every little bit helps.
Please note, this system uses PayPal who does take a % as a transaction fee – if you’d like to donate something directly with no transaction fees, we’ll happily take that too. Please drop us a line and we’ll work it out – support@metblogs.com
