Maximus, the BlitzMax Module Manager, is a website and a client for managing the numerous amounts of available BlitzMax modules.
Module authors use Maximus to release their modules to the public. BlitzMax programmers use it to manage and install these modules. Maximus will keep your modules up to date and makes sure all required dependencies are being met.
Maximus is what CPAN is for Perl, Rubygems to Ruby, LuaRocks to Lua, Yum to Fedora, apt to Debian, and so on.
The reason we ask for donations is to pay for the costs running the Maximus service. These costs consist of hiring a Virtual Private Server.
Currently the goal has been set to run Maximus for 1 full year.
The Maximus website and module hosting service can be reached at http://maximus.htbaa.com
