Carpets for Communities has grown at a phenomenal rate in the last 12 months and we’ve hit a crisis point.
A large rug reseller has agreed to trial sell our rugs, which is great.
The bad news is that we’ve paid all the women to make meters and meters of large area rugs, only to have them sit idle, as we have been unable to work out a way to sew such large rugs.
The result is we’ve paid our women for many weeks of work done, and the stock has been delayed in being ready to be sold.
The good news is we’ve worked out a way to sew the rugs, but in the mean time
we’ve run out of cash. We desperatley need your help.
We are looking for 70 generous people to each donate $100 each.
On behalf of our women participants and their families as well as from all of our volunteer across Australia we thank you for your support.
